Emily Anna Petleawich, age 75, died at a local rest home Monday.

She was born [Emily Damon] at Mt. Vernon Nov. 28, 1887, and resided most of her life in Grant County. [In her later years] she lived in Redmond for about 12 years before moving to Hermiston about a year ago.

Survivors include her husband [from her second marriage, Apr 28, 1956] Pete: [from her first marriage to Albert Green] two sons; Curtis Green and Lytle Green, all of Hermiston; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at Burns Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Robert Drewes of the Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. Pallbearers were Lee Traner, Paul Van Paten, Ed Sene, Earl Burns, Jerome Shockman and Albert Perkins. Concluding services were held at the Hermiston Cemetery.
