Stillwater - Services for Julius Ray Brown, 70, who died Monday, will be in Strode Funeral Home chapel. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery. Brown was born in Kansas, Feb. 2, 1889. He settled near Crescent in 1929 and lived at Ripley until recently. He was a member of the Church of God. Survivors are his wife, Birdie; a step-son, Gerald Williams, Ada; a step-daughter, Mrs. Gladys Yeager, Chicago, Ill.; two brothers, F. O. Brown, Crescent, and Ernest Brown, Vallejo, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Vera McGuire, Torrance, Colo., and two grandchildren.
