Mrs. Bradley was born in Waxahachie, Texas the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Birge. A week's illness of influenza followed by a major operation proved fatal to the former Miss Sophie Birge, who died in a Sherman, Texas Hospital.

Mrs. Bradley, who spent most of her life in Sherman, married Eustace U. Bradley, then a member of the Austin College Faculty in Sherman. When he retired from that position the family moved to Amarillo, Texas where they resided until 1935 when they returned to Sherman.

Surviving relatives include her husband, now associated with the Sherman Post Office; two sons, George Allan Bradley, 4, and Robert D. Bradley, 3, both of whom were recovering from an illness of influenza; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Birge, Sherman, and two brothers, Allan N. Birge, Sherman insurance man, and George W. Birge of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church, Sherman, conducted by Dr. J. A. Ellis, pastor, assisted by Dr. Conway, T. Wharton, pastor of the First Presbyterian church in Sherman. Interment at West Hill cemetery under direction of the Dannel-Scott funeral home.

Pallbearers were Shep Dorset, Arthur Hopkins, Jack Birge, Nat Birge, Frank Holt, J.B. Moorman and Birge Holt.
