She was a member of the Urich Baptist Church. Her parents and two sons, Dennis and Kenneth, preceded her in death. Surviving are husband Elvin Garey of the home; daughter Joyce Thrower, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sisters Mary Jo Greufe and husband Don, Urich, Nora Jean Ingham and husband Herbert, Blue Springs; daughter-in-law Sheryl Garey; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
