Dee Pollock
Birth: Sep. 24, 1937
Death: Dec. 27, 2005

Actor. Born in Alhambra, California, Dee launched his career as a child actor at the tender age of 6. By the early 1950's, he began performing in an array of character parts in both TV and film. Because of his youthful appearance, he often portrayed characters much younger than his real age. His screen credits included "The Blue Veil" (1951), "Dragnet", "The Legend of Tom Dooley" (1959), "The Fugitive", "Wagon Train", "Rawhide", "Gunsmoke", "Bonanza", "Perry Mason", "The Virginian", "The Mod Squad" and "Kelly's Heroes" (1970). His one recurring role was on the TV series "Johnny Ringo". Dee retired from the screen in the early 1970s and devoted his life to personal pursuits, including the frequenting of a spiritual retreat on the island of Kauai. He died at his home in Chico, California, from a heart attack at the age of 68. (bio by: RCB)
