Andrew J."Andy" Harmon was born 25 Dec 1843 in Cass Township, Green County, IN., son of William Henry Harmon and Mary Sarilda Bennett.(Mother's middle name Sarilda is from daughter Sarah's Obituary. As far Andrew's middle name there is no proven doument. Since Wm & Mary had a son after Andrew and named him John, I question Andrew's middle name being John)

Andrew J Harmon & Rebecca Ann Emery lived Bonpas twp, moved west of Troy School and then East South Ave in Olney, where they both were living when they passed away. Violet Harmon, my Mother told of Rebecca sweeping dirt floor with a branch from a tree. When they were living in Olney, her Grandma Mary Ellen (Andrew's sister) would take her over to visit, she told of Andrew tending to his cow in the backyard.
