Harold Dobey in the 1970s television series "Starsky and Hutch". Born in Los Angeles, he made his big screen debut in the 1950 picture "The Jackie Robinson Story". Beginning in the 1960s, Hamilton would appear regularly in numerous television programs such as "The Twilight Zone", "Ben Casey", "The Alfred Hitchcock Hour", "The Name of the Game", "The Bold Ones" and "Police Story". Among his motion picture credits are "The Devil at 4 O'Clock" (1961), "One Potato, Two Potato" (1964), "The Swimmer" (1968) and "Bucktown" (1975). He was the younger brother of drummer Chico Hamilton. He died from cardiac arrest. (bio by: C.S.)
