Mary was a generous, intelligent, caring person who always tried to help others in any way she could. Of most importance in her life was her family: her husband, Bill, who she married on September 15, 1945 and their five children, eleven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Mary was the daughter of Glenn Day Bevington, Sr and Mary "Mae" Schroeder. She was the oldest daughter of eight children.
She worked for many years as the manager of the Mason County License Bureau for the State of Michigan and later for AAA of Michigan.
While just about anything that came out of her kitchen was delicious, Mary's apple pie and spaghetti sauce was exceptional.
Mary was a very special person who will always be remembered with love by her family.
"They are not dead who live in lives they leave behind; In those whom they have blessed, they live a life again, And shall live, through the years, Eternal life, and grow each day more beautiful As time declares their good, Forgets the rest, and proves their immortality." -- Hugh Robert Orr
