day morning.
Mr. Hines was born in Tennessee
July 11, 1876 and had been a
resident of the Prim community for 50
years. He was a member of the Holi-
ness church and during his long and
active life as a merchant and as a
citizen had cultivated a wide acquaint-
ance and a host of friends.
Rev. Billy McCarty officiated at the
final rites, Special music was by C. C.
Galloway; O. R. Sutterfield, Mrs. Hester
Carlton, Mrs. Mildred Carlton, Mrs.
Leona Wilson and Mrs. Naomi Dillard.
Mr. Hines is survived by a son, O. J.
Hines, and a daughter, Mrs Edna Hipp,
both of Prim; two brothers, B. H. Hines
of Newport and William Hines of Lou-
isiana; one sister [Lucy Owens,Missouri]; nine grandchildren
and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were: Oscar Smith,
Clifton Galloway, Kenneth Dillard,
Hubert Dollar, Van Galloway and
Barnum Smith.
Interment was in the Everett
cemetery with arrangements by the
Olmstead funeral home.
