Edsel Trombley, 78, of Standish, [Michigan] husband, dad and grandfather, passed away at his home with family by his side, on Wednesday, Jan. 24.
He was born to Mamie and Edmond Trombley on Feb. 5, 1928. Edsel graduated from Standish High
School and entered the United States Navy in 1946. In 1951 he married Edith Seder. They lived in Standish Township and spent most
of their lives in the Standish area.
Edsel is survived by his wife of 56 years, Edith; seven children, Kathie (Mick) Demura, Yvonne (Tom) Jurek; James, Clare, Annette, Noreen (George) Kaczmarek, and Doreen (Ron) White; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was at R.O. Savage Funeral Chapel in Standish on Thursday, Jan. 25 from 5-9 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Services were held at Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church in Standish at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27.
