Lieutenant Deacon Nathaniel Peck was the grandson of Joseph Peck the immigrant and the son of Joseph's 5th son Nathaniel and his wife, Deliverance. He first married Christian Allen of Swansey on 3-8-1695 and second to Judith Smith on 7-18-1705. He had 10 children and lived to 82. His son Nathaniel III died in the French and Indian War at Fort Edward, NY, August 5, 1756. He is an ancestor to many Pecks in Barrington, including Leander Remington Peck and his son Frederick Stanhope Peck. His second wife Judith Smith was a sister to Sarah Smith, wife of his cousin Jathneil Peck.
