Mrs. Weaver was born April 3, 1924 in Andrews, SC, the daughter of Henry C. Elliott and Shellie Elliott. She was a member of Holmes Avenue Baptist Church.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, who enjoyed caring for her family and friends through her love, cooking talents and devotion. She was a lover of nature and flowers.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years of North Charleston, SC; two daughters, Vickie W. Tidwell (Bill) of James Island, SC and Kathy W. Burnet (Fred) of Charleston, SC; three grandchildren, Eric W. Tidwell (Tammy), Carmen A. Burnet and John B. Burnet; two great grandchildren, Brittany L. and Taylor J. Tidwell; two sisters, Opal E. Taylor of St. Stephen, SC and Beulah Nell E. McCants of Andrews, SC, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a son, Gene Weaver.
