Marjorie Moore Golding, born August 9, 1928, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 23, 2008. Services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2008 in Resthaven Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Friday at Resthaven Funeral Home.

Born in Lubbock, she graduated from Lubbock High School and attended Texas Tech University, where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. She married Ausie R. Golding, Jr. on December 25, 1946. She worked for Caraway, Howard and Spikes CPA firm until her retirement in August of 1974, at which time she moved to Wichita, Kan. She returned to Lubbock in 1990 and was an active volunteer for the Covenant Hospital Auxiliary. She served as the Auxiliary President for a two year term. She was a member of Raintree Christian Church at the time of her move to Weatherford in 2004. She was preceded in death by her husband, who died November 21, 2000.

She is survived by three children, Gloria Perry of Grapevine, Shirley Wallace of Roanoke, Texas, and Ray Golding of Weatherford. She is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation or the Alzheimer's Foundation.
