Misty Dawn Rosten Bateson, 32, died in Monette on July 6, 2008. She was born July 9, 1975, to Leta and Craig Rosten at Castle Air Force Base in Atwater, Calif. She served in the National Guard.
She is survived by her parents, Leta and Craig Rosten; two sons, Nicholas and Elijah Rosten; a daughter and son-in-law, Brittany (Smith) and Bobby Sims; a brother and sister-in-law, Craig and Renee Rosten; three sisters, Crystal Rosten, Rebecca Traywick and her husband Frank, Lisa Hodgekiss and her husband Tim; paternal grandparents Roy Rosten of Durango, Colo., and Pauline Rosten of Colorado Springs, Colo.; her companion, Jason Tompkins.

Preceding her in death were her maternal grandparents, Herbert and Dorothy Palmer; great-grandmother, Helen Solka; uncle, Rick Mason; aunt, Bonnie Drennen and a special friend, Brian Sipes.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, July 12, at Greater Visions Church with Bro. Rick Ethridge officiating. Burial was at Linwood Cemetery.
