Mrs. Wm. Leweke Sr. 72 yrs. old contracted acute pneumonia and on the second day her weak, frail, and aged constitution gave way and death came like a most pleasant sleep Sunday night January 27th. She was buried Wednesday at M. E. Church cemetery with Rev. Maurer officiated.
Two sons August and William and two daughters, Mrs. Swegler and Mrs. Brehe, survive her.
