Eula Mae Birkes, 92 a resident of Arlington Villa, passed away Thursday, Dec. 18, 2008.
Graveside service: 11 a.m. Monday in Clover Hill Cemetery in Lott. Visitation: Mrs. Birkes will be available for viewing noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel.
Eula was a longtime employee of Southwestern Bell. She was a member of Handley Baptist Church and very active until her health failed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred, in 1998.
Survivors: Sisters, Georgia Morris and Ruby Funderburk; and brother, Andrew Hazlewood.
