John C Kurtz, 86, of 417 Archer Ave died at 6 pm yesterday in his home after a four-months illness. Mr. Kurtz was a retired Lake Township farmer. He came to Fort Wayne after his retirement 20 years ago. He was a member of St John's Lutheran Church. Surviving are six sons, Albert, John, William, Herbert and Robert, all of Fort Wayne, and Ora of Arcola; five daughters, Mrs. Elsie Sible, Mrs. Mathilda King, Mrs. Frieda Lloyd, Miss Alma Kurtz and Mrs. Hilda Harmeyer, all of Fort Wayne; 29 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
