HOPE -- Grace Kiefer Trotter, 95, of Columbus died at 8:20 a.m. Monday, March 14, 2005, at her home, after a six-month illness.

Mrs. Trotter was retired from Wilson Olds & Cadillac, where she had worked as a bookkeeper.

A graduate of Hope High School and Indiana Business College, she was a member of Hope United Methodist Church and the Hartsville Homemakers Club.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Norman Funeral Home. Calling will be from noon until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hope Moravian Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Hope United Methodist Church or hospice.

Born in Bartholomew County Sept. 25, 1909, Mrs. Trotter was the daughter of Charles and Ethel Chitty Kiefer. She married Dallas E. Trotter Sept. 3, 1949, in Milan.

She is survived by her husband.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Henry, Lester, Earl, John and Albert Kiefer; and a sister, Mary Jewell.
