Musician. He was an English guitarist regarded as one of the most influential figures in the 1960s British folk revolution. He is best known for his acoustic instrumental, "Anji" which was on his debut album "3/4 AD" in 1962. His other noted albums included "The Guitar Player" (1963), "Folk, Blues and Beyond" (1964), "Midnight Man" (1966), "Hat" (1969), "The Complete Guitarist" (1978) and "After Hours" (1997). A regular at open folk festivals, he also was the subject of the BBC Radio documentary Whatever Happened to Davey Graham? in 2005 and featured in the BBC Live documentary Folk Britannia in 2006. He died of cancer.
