Her marriage to Jesse probably occurred in Allegany Co., MD. He & she appear in the 1822 Allegany Co., MD Probate of Philip HANSEL. However by marking with her '8' in a deed recorded 25FEB1839 and signed 22SEP1838, it was a Catherine 'SPISER' of Allegany Co., MD who sold her 1/9 interest in the remaining lands of Philip HANSEL's Estate(Book W, p.418) to Henry KOONTZ for $25(Witnesses: ?W. BUSHKERK, Elisha COOMBS, V. HOFFMAN). (Deed contained partially legible note: EX_rder to__ A. THURSTON? Nov. 20, 1832 Ext 31). Jesse SPURRIER appears in several Allegany MD Estate Records as having paid cash to those estates: John WENGERT Estate 14APR1824 & Adam HELM Estate 09APR1816.
