Lulu V. Nash, 83, 1020 Green Ave., Altoona, formerly of 1010 12th St., Altoona, died Sunday night at Altoona Regional Health System, Altoona Hospital Campus.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of Elmer and Ella (Hawksworth) Cramer. She married Clarence W. Nash Dec. 18, 1954, in Altoona. He died May 6, 1993.
Surviving are a daughter: Gretchen DeAnthony of Altoona; a son, Randy (Susan) Nash of Roswell, Ga.; two granddaughters: April Cramer of Altoona and Elizabeth Miller in North Carolina; a grandson, Ryan Nash of Denver, Colo.; two great-granddaughters: Kaitlyn Miller, in North Carolina and Trista Work of Altoona; and a great-grandson, Gordon Witherow Jr. in Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Emory; and sisters: Letty and Joyce.
She attended First Baptist Church, Altoona.
Mrs. Nash retired from Sylvania Electronics in 1984 with 35 years of service.
She was a 1942 graduate of Altoona High School.
Mrs. Nash was a volunteer at Blair Senior Services for many years.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008, at Myers-Somers Funeral Home Inc., 501 Sixth Ave., Altoona. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008, at the funeral home, with Pastor Tyler Pepper officiating. Entombment at Alto Reste Park Mausoleum.
