GIBBLE, Mrs. Lois C. age 92 of Greenville, Ohio passed away very peacefully Monday morning December 8, 2008 at the Brethren Retirement Community of Greenville, Ohio. Lois was born May 30, 1916 in Chillicothe, Ohio-daughter of the late Oliver & Bessy May (Puderbaugh) Royer. She was a graduate of Manchester College receiving her BA Degree, after which time she taught school in the Beavercreek School System as well as being a homemaker and a devoted wife to her husband Rev. Pius R. Gibble for 57 years. Lois was a lifetime member of the Church of the Brethren and loved her flowers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Pius R. Gibble-September 4, 2005; sisters-Esther Rudy and Mary Thompson; brothers---Robert and Olin Royer.

She is survived by sons and daughters in law-Paul & Terri Gibble of Centerville, Ohio and Tim and Susan Gibble of Holden Beach, N.C.. Also grandchildren-Anne, Laura, Eric, David and Zachary Gibble. Brother-John Royer of Orlando, Fla., sisters-Eunice Taylor of Columbus, Oh. and Ruth Young of Cleveland, Ohio, a niece Dianne Gibble of Greenville and several other nieces & nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday December 12, 2008 at the Chapel of the Brethren Retirement Community 750 Chestnut St., Greenville, Ohio with the Rev. Bob Bitner and Rev. Todd Reish co-officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in the Oak Grove Cemetery Ft. Jefferson, Ohio. The family will receive friends on Friday 1/2 hour prior to the services at the Brethren Home. Local arrangements by Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio. The family would like to Thank the Staff of the Brethren Home, particularly those of Oak view 4 and Rosewood 5 for the loving care they gave to our parents.
