David Yates, 51, of Kennett, died Monday, Dec. 1, 2008, at Wilmar, Ark.
Born Jan. 29, 1957, in Kennett, he was the son of Lois Ivie Calhoun and the late J.D. Yates.
On Aug. 17, 1996, he married Barbara Robison, who survives of Kennett.
Survivors also include one son, Chris Yates, of Memphis, Tenn.; one daughter, Dana Paisley, of Memphis; his mother & step-father, Lois and Ralph Calhoun, of Wilmar; one brother, Mike Yates, of Kennett; one sister, Leanna Ehrhardt, of Springfield, Mo.; three step-brothers, Gerald Moore, of Kennett, Greg Calhoun, of Poplar Bluff, mo., and Keith Calhoun, of Batesville, Ark.; one granddaughter, Lauren Paisley, of Memphis and his step-mother, Clolene Yates, of Kennett.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., today, Wednesday, Dec. 3, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 4, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
