Cleo Elaine Hitchcock Burgess, age 78, passed away on December 2, 2008 at Castle Country Care Center in Price, Utah.


She was born September 4, 1930 in Moore (Rochester), Utah to Seth Hitchcock and Mary Alice Allen. She married James Ivo Burgess on June 3, 1946 in the Manti LDS Temple. Cleo was a faithful member of the LDS Church, serving in many positions. Her family and her children were her greatest joy.


She is survived by her children: Kennith (Virginia) Burgess of West Valley City, Paul (LeRee) Burgess of Blanding, UT, Bruce (Nona) Burgess of Price, UT, Diane (Don) Rock of Heyburn, ID, and Deborah (Jeff) Williams of St. George; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters: Kenna Lee (Dick) Anderson of West Valley City, and Ruth Jensen of Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by her husband; parents; four half sisters; two half brothers; two brothers; and two sisters.


Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 5, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Price LDS Stake Center (150 South 500 East - Price, UT) with a viewing one-hour prior to the services at the Stake Center.
Interment will be in the Cliffview Cemetery.
