She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and person who gave all she had to the people she loved. She was happiest when she was helping others. Roxie Lee (Goodson) Alexander, age 85, passed away on Saturday; November 29, 2008 at her home in Maryville, Tennessee. Those left to mourn her passing are: Her daughter: Polly (Bo) Thomas. Her sons: Oscar (Margie) Goodson. Charlie Alexander and Brad Goodson. Her brothers: James Goodson, Sam (Susie) Goodson. Ralph (Vickie) Goodson and Don (Patricia) Goodson. Her sister: Carrie Lou (Jimmy) Jett and her sister-in-law: Ida Faye Goodson. Her eight grandchildren and her eighteen great-grandchildren. Her special grandsons: Michael Alexander and Bill Thomas. Her special granddaughter-in-law and caregiver: Donna Thomas. Her nieces, nephews and special friends: Kathy Hunt, Anne Blevens, Novella Hull, and Jeanne Kemper. Along with her beloved dog: Mikie.
