Daughter of Henry & Abbie Susan (Kennedy) Carlton

Thanks to descendant John Murlin:
I believe that this inscription is a mistake on the marker. I do not know of any record that shows that this spelling was ever used. It might be a good idea to use the name Narcissa and make a note that the the only use of Narcissia was on the grave marker. Narcissa is a Roman name and is the feminine form of Narcissus.

From Volunteer Ernest Leatherman:
The cemetery is a beautiful location on the Waccamaw river in downtown Conway, SC. The graves themselves are located about 50 feet from the river bank and surrounded by several large Crepe Myrtle trees covered in dangling moss. It is truly an idyllic location. The cemetery is bounded on the North by a 7' brick wall, on the west by the Church proper, on the east by the Waccamaw River and on the south by the church administration building.
