Services for the father and two daughters, Emma, 16 and Helen, 8, were held jointly by Rev. Walter Clem, rector of the church and Dr. Charles H. Lee, a former rector, now ar St. Simon's Island. The formal church ritual and commitment services were followed. Burial was in the family lot. Close friends and relatives attended the services which were private.
Mr. Adams is survived by his wife and son, Albert, Jr., a student at Emory university; a sister, Mrs. Frank Carmichael of Macon; and a brother, Charles Adams.
Emma Powers Adams and her Sister Helen Goode Adams was killed by there father Albert Reed Adams who commited suicide.
