Professional Hockey Player, Coach. A native of Thorold, Ontario, Canada, he played at the left-wing position for nine seasons (1942 to 1944, 1945 to 1952) in the National Hockey League with the Boston Bruins, Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Black Hawks. Guidolin holds the distinction as the youngest player to appear in a NHL game, when he made his debut with the Bruins on November 12, 1942 less than one month shy of his 17th birthday. In 519 career games, he scored 107 goals with 171 assists. In addition, he coached for four seasons (1972 to 1976) with the Boston Bruins and Kansas City Scouts.
