Former Brazilian Dies At Terre Haute Monday
John Gilmour, former well known miner of Brazil died yesterday at the home of his sister, Mrs. James Hamilton, 1551 Sixth Avenue, Terre Haute after a short illness at the age of 65 years. The primary cause of his death was uremic poisoning but his death was hastened by an attack of hiccoughs which he suffered recently. The deceased resided in Brazil for many years and leaves many friends in this city who will regret to learn of his death.
He is survived by two sons, William of West Terre Haute, and James of Louisville, Colo.; a daughter Mrs. John McNulty of Brazil; two brothers, Alexander of Denver, Colo. and James of Terre Haute; and three sisters, Mrs, John Myrick of Gallup, N.M., Mrs. William Hamilton and Mrs. James Hamilton of Terre Huate. The funeral arrangements have not been completed.
