MONROE MATRON PASSES AWAY Following a lingering illness at the home of her daughter, Mrs Ellis Winget, Mrs. Amelia Baldwin passed away Sept 18, death resulting from cancer. She was born in London, June 14, 1860, a twin daughter of J. L. and Mary Harriot Robinson. The family came to this country when Mrs. Baldwin was five years of age and endured the pioneer life of the period. When grown to womanhood. She he married Charles Baldwin and became the mother of ten children. The following children survive: Roy Baldwin of Torrey, Jesse Baldwin of Wellington, Mrs. Thomas Terry of Delta, Mrs. Nephi Madsen of Richfield, Mrs. Ellis Winget of Monroe, Mrs. Amelia Jensen and Mrs. Jos Riley of Richfield. One sister, Mrs. Robert Brigg(s) of Beaver, three bothers living in Beaver and two brothers in Salt Lake City survive also.
Funeral services were held Friday in the North ward chapel, Bishop Arthur Lundgreen directing. Musical numbers included selections by the choir and a vocal solo by C. B. Halliday. E. M. Jensen and Peter C. Lundgren spoke comforting words to the bereaved family. Eli Lundgreen offered the invocation and Lucian Winget pronounced the benediction. Burial took place in the city cemetery.
