Mrs Kungunda Wimmer, née Keiholtz, widow of the late Frederick Wimmer, passed away at her home near Westphalia, Monday evening after an illness of several weeks of complications due to infirmities of age.

She was born in Germany Jan. 21, 1862. She was, at the time of her passing, 80 years, one month and 15 days old.

She came to the United States when a girl of 22 years of age, first to St Louis for a short time and then to Frankenstein, where she had a brother living, with whom she made her home.

She was married to Frederick Wimmer at Frankenstein and to them were born the following children: Fred, of Loose Creek; William and Joe, at the family home; Mike, who died during the last World War; Mrs Edw. Haslag, Loose Creek; Mrs Hilda Rackers, Taos; and Lena, who died in infancy. There are also the following step- children: Mrs Christene Schneider, St Louis; Mrs Margrete Selleck, San Francisco, Calif.; and John B
Wimmer, Williamsburg. She also leaves 19 grandchildren and five great-grand children.

She had lived in the Loose Creek community ever since her marriage. She was a member of the Loose Creek Catholic Church, the Married Ladies Sodality, and the 3rd Order of St Joseph.

Funeral services were held Thursday morning at 10:00 o'clock at the Loose Creek Catholic Church, with the pastor, the Rev. Fr. Theon Schoen, officiating. Arrangements and burial was in charge of the Morton Funeral Home and was in the parish's new cemetery.
