Miss Edith Anderson, 84, of Aledo died at 2pm Tuesday in Memorial Hospital in Burlington, IA. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Thursday in the Fippinger Funeral Home, Aledo, with the Rev Karl Nelson pastor of the messiah Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery.
Miss Anderson was born June 2, 1888 in Aledo, a daughter of Charles and Josephine Jacobson Anderson. She attended Aledo schools and spent her entire life in Aledo.
Miss Anderson has been employed as a domestic in the Aledo area until her retirement in 1966. She was a member of Hedvig Lindorf Hospital Circle of the Messiah Lutheran Church.
Surviving is a sister, Mrs Boyd Nesbitt of rural Aledo and a brother, Arthur R Anderson of Muskegon Heights, MI; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and nine brothers and sisters.
