SCOTT, Capt. Pierrie Lebris - 91, Halifax, died February 23, 1995, in Victoria General Hospital. Born in Yarmouth, he was a son of the late Capt. Ellery and Margaret (Casey) Scott. He was a retired deep sea captain. He received The Order of the British Empire for his services during the Second World War with Canadian National Steamships. He later served as captain with Kent Lines. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Surviving are sons, Paul, Timberlea; Peter, Fairvale, N.B.; six grandchildren; a great-granddaughter. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Frances Smith; brothers, Amos, Walter, Leonard; sisters, Anna Scott, Margaret Woodman, Martha Cushing, Edna Simester. Visitation 7-9 p.m. tonight in Sweeny's Funeral Home, Yarmouth. Private burial 11 a.m. Sunday in Arcadia Cemetery. Donations to Canadian Cancer Society.
