Earl Noah Atwood, 83, of Marmaduke, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2003, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.
He was born Oct. 30, 1920, in Marmaduke.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army of World War II and the Korean War. He was a retired farmer and a member of New Life Temple, American Legion and Adams Jackson Post.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Myrtle Atwood; two brothers, Mose Lee and Henry Atwood; and one sister, Bessie Rogers.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Atwood of Marmaduke; one son and daughter-in-law, Wyman and Rosemary Atwood of Paragould; one daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and David Miller of Memphis, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Heather and Hunter Atwood and Tabitha Hyten; and two great-grandchildren, Colton and Jenna Hyten.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Paragould with Jerry Hayes and Raymond Atwood officiating.
Burial will be in Greene County Memorial Gardens under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home of Paragould.
Pallbearers are Eugene Bennett, John Day, Tim Freeman, Donnie Fuller, Mike Graham, and Mark Graham.
Visitation will be 6 until 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
