Norma Jean Wells, 77, of 1 Sandy Lane, Canastota, died unexpectedly on Tuesday at Crouse Hospital Syracuse after suffering a stroke earlier in the day. Jean was predeceased by her husband, Charles M. "Chuck" Wells, who died in 2005; a son, Randolph "Randy" Wells, who died in 1969; and a grandson, Ryan Wells, who died in 2006. Survivors: two sons and a daughter-in-law, Ronald and Dawn Wells of Camden and Kristopher K. Wells of DeRuyter; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Jeannine and Michael Masucci of Canastota, Valerie J. Wells of Seattle, WA, Patricia M. Wells and Diane and Scott Sexton, all of Canastota; a sister, Patricia Cumming of Canton, GA; twelve grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved yellow Lab, Tanner.
