Jonathan V. Ashton, 80 of 1136 Beverly Ave., Eddington, died yesterday at his home. Born in Andalusia, he lived in this area all his life. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad. He was a veteran of WWI. Mr. Ashton was a member of
Christ Episcopal Church, Eddington. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen. He is survived by his wife, Lucy Vandegrift Ashton; four sons, John of Manahawkin, N.J., George of Trevose, Eugene and Louis, both of Eddington; two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Price and Mrs. Mary Trappe, both of Cornwells Heights; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Murray of Bristol and Mrs. Susan
Fitch of Cornwells Heights; a brother, Charles of Norristown, and 22 grandchildren. Private funeral services will be held Monday in Christ Episcopal
Church at the convenience of the family. Rev. Herbert R. Demeester, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in Vandegrift burial Ground, Cornwells Heights. Donations may be made to Christ Episcopal Church in remembrance.
Friends may call at the funeral home of J. Maurice Tomlinson, 2207 Bristol Pike, Cornwells Heights Sunday evening. ----- Bucks County Courier Times March 31,
