One of the neighbors would drive them to perform. The vehicle that they rode in had a radiator leak. The cousins would chew gum and when the gum was at the right point of chew they would put the gum into the radiator hose and plug the radiator from leaking.
Members of the band played the violin, guitar, clarinett, piano, trumpet and drums.
