Robert Lund also formed a cousin band which was between the years 1939-1941. This cousin band was started by the Lund cousins. The band played through the depression years. They didn't make much money, but they performed for three years.
One of the neighbors would drive them to perform. The vehicle that they rode in had a radiator leak. The cousins would chew gum and when the gum was at the right point of chew they would put the gum into the radiator hose and plug the radiator from leaking.

Members of the band played the violin, guitar, clarinett, piano, trumpet and drums.
