Louisa Haveron was the daughter of John Haveron and Eliza Haveron, nee White, and the sister of Capt. Henry, John, William, Charles, George, Emily (married name, Bell), and Elizabeth (married name, Petrie). Louisa signed the marriage certificates as a witness for both of her sisters.

At the time of her death at age 22 from phthisis, Louisa was living at the home of her brother John at 124 Fleet Place, Brooklyn. She is buried (date of interment October 4, 1879) with her mother (date of interment February 9, 1871) and her father (date of interment March 12, 1880). Mary E. McLaughlin is also buried in this grave (date of interment September 27, 1875). At this time who Mary E. McLaughlin was and what her relationship was to John, Eliza, and Louisa is unknown.
