He was a retired farmer and a lifetime resident of the Patton area.
He was a member of Reagan's Chapel Methodist Church at Patton.
Also surviving are four sons, Paul Welker of Patton, MO; Rev. Perry Welker of Wentzville, MO; Karol D. Welker of Fredericktown, MO; and Darrell Welker of Patton, MO; three daughters, Mary Jane Ehlers of Perryville, MO; Vera Bishop of Mechanicsville, IA; and Verna Gloth of Whitewater, MO; two brothers, Coy Welker of Saint Charles, MO; and Loy Welker of Saint Peters, MO; three sisters, Lona Lukefahr of Daisy, MO; Grace Sharrock of Jackson, MO; and Clara Fadler of Cape Girardeau, MO; 21 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Two daughters, two brothers, and two great-grandchildren preceded him in death.
Services were held Monday at Liley Funeral Home in Patton, with burial in the Patton Cemetery.
