Cecelia Wilhelm Stallbaumer, wife of Leo Stallbaumer, passed away at St. Francis Hospital, Wichita, on January 3, 1958.

Mrs. Stallbaumer was born on January 25, 1895, at St. Bernard, Nebraska, and lived with her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Wilhelm in Nebraska and Missouri, later coming to Kansas to live.

She married Leo Stallbaumer, on May 3, 1922. They located in Lillis, Kansas, later moving to Colwell, Kansas, then Andale, Kansas. They moved to Wichita in 1946, which was their home until she passed away after a long illness, having been in St. Francis Hospital the past two years.

She is survived by her husband, Leo and their four sons, Melvin Stallbaumer, Wichita, Dr. Fridolin J. Stallbaumer, Overland Park, Kansas, Roger Stallbaumer, Wellington, Kansas and A 1/C William Stallbaumer, McConnell Air Force Base, Wichita, Kansas; and nine grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers and sisters, Pauline Russ, Corning, Kansas; Frank Wilhelm Effingham, Kansas; Tony Wilhelm, Al Wilhelm and Vincent Wilhelm, Seneca, Kansas; Ambrose Wilhelm, Baileyville, Kansas; Matilda Wilhelm, Springfield, Illinois; Cyril Wilhelm, Horton, Kansas; Modesta Holthaus, Baileyville, Kansas; and Leo Wilhelm, Wichita, Kansas.

The funeral service was held at St. Bede's Catholic Church, Kelly, Kansas. Fr. Ernest Stallbaumer, O.S.B., brother-in-law of the deceased offered the Requiem Mass. Burial was at the church cemetery.
