Charles Percival died Saturday morning at nine o'clock at St. Luke's Hospital in New York City, of a complication of diseases after a long illness.
He was born in Pike County, Pa., near Milford, Nov. 10th, 1873, and lived his early life in that vicinity. For several years he was a valued employee of the late Jacob Fonda in the operation of his steam laundry in this city. Some twelve years ago, he went to New York City, where he was employed in a trustworthy position with a large laundry in the Bronx. He continued until about two years ago when he was taken ill and died as stated.
Deceased is survived by his wife and two children, also one brother Fred Percival of Matamoras, Pa., and one sister, Charlotte, wife of Frank Percival of this city, and several other relatives in this vicinity.
The funeral, which will be private, will be held Tuesday afternoon, the Rev. Uriah Symonds officiating at No. 3 Mary Street, and interment will be made in the family plot in Laurel Grove Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
