Mrs. Lincecum Dies at the Age of 74 Years

Deceased Had Been a Resident of Temple and Bell County for Many Years.

Mrs. T. M. Lincecum died Wednesday night at a hospital where she had been an inmate for a surgical operation, which was performed about ten days ago. After the operation all seemed to go well with her for a while, but her extreme age was against her recovery, and the lamp of life flickered and went out.

Funeral services were conducted yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. S. M. Bigham, 712 East Barton Avenue, by Rev. W. A. Hamlett of the First Baptist Church. A large number of friends and members of the church gathered to pay the last tribute of respect and the body was laid to its final rest in the City Cemetery.

Mrs. Lincecum had been a resident of Temple and vicinity for many years, loved by her friends and neighbors, and devotedly giving her life to the care of her children. She was 74 years old at time of death.
