CALLIE MASON ALLEN SPARTANBURG, SC - Callie Mason Allen, 90, widow of the late George Willis Allen died Wednesday, February 20, 2002, at Mountainview Nursing Home. She was a native of Spartanburg County and daughter of the late James Perry and Emma Estelle Ross Mason. Mrs. Allen was a member of Fairview Free Will Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and the last survivor of triplet sisters. She was a most loving and caring stepmother and grandmother and served as a special role model for her family. Survivors include step daughters: Kate Allen Riley of Spartanburg, Frances Allen Terrazas of Fayetteville, NC and Doris Allen Hyrne of Columbia; 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 2 great great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service which will be held Friday, February 22, 2002, at 2:00 PM at Bobo Funeral Chapel. Rev. Tim Hackett will officiate. Pallbearers will be the grandsons, Dennis Cooke, Toney Riley, Al Terrazas, and Eric Stanton. Burial will be at First Baptist Church of North Spartanburg.
