Jenoise Lovell Allison, 86, of Carbon passed away Thursday, Dec. 6, 2007.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Eastland. Interment: Bear Springs Cemetery, directed by Edwards Funeral Home of Eastland. Visitation: The family will receive friends noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Allison was born Feb. 28, 1921, in Center Point to Henry A. and Bonnie E. Greenwood Lovell. She graduated from Carbon High School and North Texas State University in Denton. She married Euell Allison on Aug. 30, 1942. She taught school in Arlington, Scranton and Carbon, retiring in 1983.
She was steadfastly dedicated to teaching. She was a godly woman, with compassion, who tried to inspire children to excel in a most excellent way. She led a spiritual life and instilled Christian values in her family.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Eastland and Carbon and was active in Meals on Wheels and the Carbon Community Center.
Mr. Allison preceded her in death July 24, 2007.
Survivors: Children, Alvie Allison and his wife, Linda, of Arlington and Alice Ann Lowrie and her husband, Shane, of Cleburne; sister, Bonnie Wynelle Brown of Carbon; and five grandchildren.
