♥ ♥ ~ My Uncle Billy ~ ♥ ♥
☆☆☆～ World War II Veteran ～☆☆☆
Served in the U.S. Army, entering the service as a private on October 27, 1942
Billy met Frossine Panagakos at the roller skating rink in Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. They were married on May 28, 1949 at the Saints Cyril and Cecil Methodius Ukranian Church in Berwick, Columbia County, Pennsylvania. The couple raise a foster daughter, Kristie, as their own child. Billy also had many nieces, nephews, and Godchildren who considered him their second father.
He was a self-employed tractor trailer driver, and he loved his job. He would occasionally take my aunt with him on trips, and one time took my two brothers. He enjoyed bowling, played on several local teams, and won many trophies. He also enjoyed playing Canasta, and taught his many nieces and nephews to play.
