Barcus Jeffrey L, 34, Mishawaka, Ind., died of a heart attack Aug. 11, 1985 in St. Joseph Hospital, Mishawaka. He was born Sept. 26, 1950, the son of Rev. Frank L. and Ellyn Barcus of Syracuse, Ind. Surviving are his parents; his wife, Eileen Meszoreos Barcus; and four children, Jennifer, Nathan, Calab and Joshua, all at home; a brother, John, and a sister Lindsey Webster, both Fort Wayne. Local relatives include his grandmother, Beatrice V. Barcus, Skinner Lake, great-aunt, Madeliene Hile, and uncle, Paul A. Barcus of Albion. He was co-owner of the popular Waterbeds Stores, with three locations in the greater Mishawaka area. He also was the organizer and leader of a well-known five member dance band in which he played drums. Services Aug. 14 at First English Lutheran Church, Mishawaka. Burial, Rose Hill Cemetery. + 8-11-1985
