Eliza Jane ZERBY BRENNAN was born 1838 in Allensville, Mifflin County, Pennsylvania, to John and Rachel KVISHER ZERBY. Her family moved to Concord, Morgan County, Illinois between 1850 & 1860. She married Edward/Edmond BRENNAN 27 Aug 1858 in Jacksonville or Concord, Morgan County, Illinois. They raised their family in Concord, and moved to Carrollton, Carroll County, Missouri just prior to 1880. Eliza Jane died the very next year in 1881.
Edward/Edmond and Eliza Jane were the parents of Laura Brennan LANE (R.C.), Lawrence John (Lenna), Wallace Edwin (Anna), Louis, and Grace. Louis never married, and Grace, born about 1866, died in infancy before they moved to Missouri.
Eliza Jane is buried next to her husband, Edward, in unmarked graves. The plot name reads "BRENNEN" only.
