Franklin. passed away, Sunday evening at his home.
He was born at the home of the family farm in Ness County, Kansas. s/o Edwin Heberling & Clara Amelia (Haas) Grumbein. He attended schools in Kansas.
He married Edith Armstrong, August 15, 1942, at Blackfoot. She preceded him in death, May 23, 1994.
Frank served in the U.S. Army during World War II, European Theater.
He founded Frank's Repair Service and continued to work with his son after retirement. He loved to fish, bowl, play pool and hunt. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, the Pocatello BPO Elks No. 674 and Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 119. He is survived by a son, Steven F. Grumbein of Pocatello; three daughters, Sherron F. (Joe)Mahaffey of Boulder, Colorado; Patti A.(Bob) Greer, of Chicago, Illinois; Georgia L. (Stan) Callantine, of Pocatello; 19 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Clarence Arthur (Zella Mae)Grumbein, of Dighton, Kansas; and longtime companion Ruth L. Stiggers. He was preceded in death by his wife, one sister and seven brothers. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 10, 2001, at 11am in the First United Methodist Church, 200 N. 15th Ave.. Pocatello, with the Rev. H. Lee Baker officiating. Interment will be in the Mountainview Cemetery, Pocatello, with military graveside rites by the Pocatello Veterans Honor Guard. Memorials may be given to the American Heart Assocaition Idaho/Montana Region, 270 S. Orchard Suite B, Boise, Idaho 83705
