MRS. JESSIE WEBB, 81, BURIED SUN. AT RED HILL CEMETERY.

Mrs. Jessie Lena Webb, 81, former Macon Countian, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. E. Parker of Abbeville; following a brief illness. The body was taken to Oglethorpe where funeral services were held at Red Hill Primitive Baptist Church Sunday afternoon with Rev. George A. Hill of Pineview officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Webb was a native of Sumter County, the daughter of the late John and Virginia Bailey Underwood. She was the widow of Ben W. Webb of Macon County to whom she was wedded for 40 years.

Survivors, besides Mrs. Parker, are five sons, Albert Webb of Lakeland; Aubun Webb of Cochran; Ben Webb of Greenville; Hubon Webb of Snowhill, N.C.; Buford Webb of St. Petersburg, FL.; one brother, Miles Underwood of Cairo; three sisters, Mrs. Bob Webb and Mrs. Bessie Atwater of Pelham; Mrs. Nettie English of Atlanta; 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
