Aged Salesman Dies At Harmon Residence.
Alfred Harrison DODGE, 79, a salesman who had been in Osage City the past few weeks, rooming at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. John HARMON on West Market street, passed away suddenly Sunday morning about 11:45.
He had been downstairs only a short time before his death, talking to Mrs. HARMON, and had gone back upstairs to read, and was found dead a short time later.
He leaves a wife and one daughter, Mrs. KING of Ottawa, who arrived in Osage City Wednesday.
Funeral services were held at the McElfresh mortuary Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Wade K. RAMSEY, pastor of the Presbyterian church having charge.
Burial was made in the Osage City cemetery.
